Quick reference
Present a Form
Present a form and view the results.
When to use
We can present a form to an audience and see the questions and current responses.
Instructions
Present a Form
- Click the Present button.
Our audience can see the survey questions and also the responses that have been received so far. They also have access to complete the form themselves by scanning the QR code.
The questions will be shown one by one. Use the arrows underneath to move to the next question.
- 00:04 You might find at some stage when you're working with your form that you want to
- 00:08 present it to an audience.
- 00:09 Now we're going to talk a little bit later on about a really cool new feature,
- 00:13 that's available in PowerPoint, which allows us to directly embed a form into
- 00:18 a PowerPoint presentation and then present it to an audience.
- 00:21 But we also do have a present feature within the Forms application itself.
- 00:26 So if you cast your eyes up to our Menu Bar in the top right hand corner,
- 00:31 notice we have a present option.
- 00:33 Now if we click,
- 00:34 this it's kind of going to take us into this presentation mode.
- 00:38 And when we're working in presentation mode,
- 00:40 what we see is each question individually.
- 00:43 So I'm only seeing the first question, but notice just underneath,
- 00:47 I can see the 14 questions that I've created are actually there.
- 00:52 I can move on to the next question by clicking the arrow, and
- 00:55 I can also see things like latest responses in here as well.
- 00:59 Now currently, nobody has completed this form, so we don't have too many responses.
- 01:03 But this is a really nice way of just very quickly being able to go click that
- 01:08 Present button, present the form in a really nice way to an audience, and
- 01:13 also take a look at the results of each question.
- 01:16 So I'm sure you can see the benefits of this if maybe you're presenting this
- 01:20 form to your team or your managers.
- 01:23 You can work through each question and have a discussion about the results.
- 01:27 Also, notice that, there is a QR code just here.
- 01:31 So anybody in your audience can use their phone to scan the QR code, and
- 01:36 it will take them directly to this form.
- 01:39 So don't forget about this option,
- 01:42 it is a reasonably new option in Microsoft Forms,
- 01:47 but one that is very worthwhile.
