Instructions
Drag the two primary images together
- Drag the photo of the face over the pumpkin.
- Decrease opacity of top image to better place the image.
Add the mouth
- Use ‘Elliptical Marquee’ tool from the tools bar.
- Press the ‘Add Layer Mask’ button.
- Use the brush (soft) with black color to mask out the rough edges.
Blend with background object
- Get rid of most of the upper lip.
- Add color adjustments layer.
- Hue and saturation, click on colorize.
- Slide the hue slider to match the background color.
- Adjust saturation to match.
- Clip the adjustment layer to the layer mask.
- Create a layer mask for the adjustment layers.
- Use the brush (soft) with black color to mask out the colorized teeth.
Add the eyes
- Drag in a new copy of the human image.
- Enter ‘Free Transform’ mode to adjust size.
- Repeat the mouth process.
- Bring up the layer styles dialogue.
- Bevel and Emboss - Emboss: Angle -90.
Tip quick opacity changes
- Use the number keys to quickly change layer opacity:
- 0 =100%
- 00 =0%
- 1 = 10%
- 2 =20% etc
