- 00:00 Hey everyone, Howard Pinsky here with a quick PhotoShop tip for you.
- 00:03 Looking at PhotoShop's Bird's Eye View feature, which for many view may be the
- 00:07 first time you've come across it.
- 00:09 Put yourself in the following situation: you're working on editing a very high
- 00:13 resolution photo,
- 00:14 and you are zoomed in quite close to see the detail. Instead of zooming back out by
- 00:18 holding the Command key and then pressing the minus key a few times,
- 00:21 and then zooming into a new area, here's a much quicker way of navigating around
- 00:25 your high res images.
- 00:27 Whenever you're zoomed in on an image, instead of going to the extra step such as the one
- 00:31 outlined,
- 00:32 holding down the H key on your keyboard and then holding down your
- 00:35 mouse button
- 00:36 will bring you into Bird's Eye View. You'll notice a rectangular
- 00:39 outline that moves as you drag your mouse. Place it over the next area that you want
- 00:43 to focus on, and let go!
- 00:44 You're zoomed in and ready to continue editing.
- 00:47 Hold down 'H' pan to another area and continue editing.
- 00:51 Super simple, super effective, and that's Bird's Eye View in PhotoShop.
- 00:54 If you find yourself working on a very large
- 00:58 document,
- 00:59 remember this quick tip and it may save you a little bit of time.
