- 00:04 In the Results section, things get really interesting.
- 00:08 With 1000minds, we can analyze our different alternatives and
- 00:12 our preferences in so many different ways.
- 00:16 If we just click on Results rather than any of the subcategories,
- 00:20 we get a quick overview of our results.
- 00:24 On the top left, we see the preference values of each of our criteria,
- 00:29 which basically means how much each of our criteria matters to us in this decision.
- 00:35 Based on our trade-offs, it looks like the most important criterion for us
- 00:40 when choosing a city to move to is the Weather, followed by Public Transport,
- 00:44 and Nightlife.
- 00:46 And we really don't care so much about whether or not there's a beach.
- 00:51 We also see the rankings of our top 5 alternatives, and
- 00:55 how they scored under criteria.
- 00:57 Here we see that the best city for us to move to,
- 01:01 without looking at any costs and other considerations is San Francisco,
- 01:06 which scores very highly on all the criteria.
- 01:12 The next best choices would have been New York City and Cartagena.
- 01:19 If we scroll down, we get a quick peek at the value-for-money chart,
- 01:23 which is an especially useful tool that lets us factor in our costs and
- 01:27 other considerations when it comes to making our final decision.
- 01:33 From a quick glance, it looks like San Francisco and New York City
- 01:38 might not be such good choices after all, because of how expensive they are.
- 01:42 And maybe our best option is actually Cartagena, which is much cheaper.
- 01:48 Finally, on the bottom left, we see some statistics for
- 01:51 our trade-offs, including when we started and ended our trade-offs.
- 01:56 How long it took us to make our trade-offs, and
- 01:58 how many impossible combinations and comments we added.
- 02:03 You can visit the Results section at any time while you're making your trade-offs,
- 02:08 to see what the results look like so far
- 02:10 or visit it after you finish all your trade offs to view the final results.
- 02:16 If you want to see more details of any section,
- 02:19 you can either click on SEE MORE in any of the categories here, or
- 02:24 click on the name of the subcategory in the menu on the left under Results.
- 02:30 We'll go over these sections in more detail in the next couple of videos.
