- 00:09 The goals you have at 20 may be different from the goals you have at 30 or 40 or 50.
- 00:14 The goals you have today may be different than the goals you have next week.
- 00:18 That's okay.
- 00:20 I change my goals and my habits frequently.
- 00:23 Now, I do it a couple of ways.
- 00:24 I'll pull up my selfie-speak audio and I just want to add something.
- 00:29 Just the other day I said, okay, T.J. if you're not right at 175 pounds,
- 00:35 then you are not going to eat dessert today.
- 00:40 And I will put that down.
- 00:42 And I just spoke into it.
- 00:44 Ten seconds at the end of my selfie speak audio, I just added it.
- 00:47 So I didn't have to redo the whole thing.
- 00:49 I just hit edit, went to the end of it, spoke, recorded it for
- 00:54 ten seconds, hit stop, and it just made it ten seconds longer.
- 00:58 So I typically will make little changes like this, things I add on.
- 01:03 Every couple of weeks I'll add something.
- 01:06 And then every three to six months, I'll redo the whole thing.
- 01:09 And it only takes 15 minutes, 16 minutes maybe, it's not time consuming.
- 01:16 It's so much less time consuming than reading a script or
- 01:20 reading affirmations out loud every day or rereading a book every day.
- 01:24 because you can do it anywhere, anytime, and
- 01:27 you can do it while you're doing other things like commuting in a bus,
- 01:33 going for a walk, or reading the morning newspaper.
- 01:39 Newspapers used to be a thing.
- 01:40 I meant online.
- 01:42 We're almost at the end.
- 01:44 If you come with me this far, we've covered a lot of ground.
- 01:47 I hope you have a much stronger sense of how to create goals that work for
- 01:54 you and then help you build the life you want to live.

- 02:49 happiness, joy, and purpose.
