Master Your Beliefs, Attitude and Emotions – Mind Cleanse
In order to be successful in sales, you have to master your attitude, beliefs and emotions. Cleanse your mind to break out of negative habits and negative thoughts.
When to use
If you are having difficulty closing sales or feeling frustrated by negative thoughts, you can do a mind cleanse to get your mindset into a more positive place.
Instructions
To master your attitude, beliefs and emotions you also need to do a Mind Cleanse. What are you putting into your mind? Constantly filling your mind with bad things like negative news stories or gossip will make you feel negative. You need to cleanse your mind of these things by doing the following:
- Music (positive, motivational and inspiring playlist)
- Motivational programs/training
- Cut out the news for 7 days challenge

- 00:16 This is that foundation you have to build in order to explode your sales.

- 00:29 We talked about your mind reset, resetting your mind with gratitude,
- 00:34 with prayer, with meditation, your diet, exercise.

- 00:43 neurolinguistic programming and different things you can do to hack your mind.
- 00:48 Now we're going to talk about mind cleanse.
- 00:52 Now there's three things you can do to cleanse your mind.
- 00:55 Because when you think about it, if you have a sink in your kitchen, think about
- 01:02 the sink in your kitchen, and you take trash and you dump trash into that sink.
- 01:07 There's some rotten food or whatever it is and you dirty up that sink, it's dirty,
- 01:11 isn't it?
- 01:13 Think about your mind as being the sink, what are you putting into your mind?
- 01:19 Are you putting rotten things and dirty things and news stories and social
- 01:25 media and gossip and all those different things that your mind doesn't need?
- 01:30 Or you putting in things that are gonna be beneficial?
- 01:33 One of the things we talk about is music.
- 01:37 Positive music, motivational music, inspiring music,
- 01:41 that goes right to your nervous system, and helps you control your psychology.
- 01:46 What I do is I put together playlists.
- 01:48 Now you could use all types of different apps out there.
- 01:51 You can use anything that's on your phone, on your iPad, computer, whatever it is.
- 01:58 Put together a playlist with songs that are positive, that make you feel good.
- 02:02 That you can play before a sales call,
- 02:04 you can play before you pick up the phone, play before your presentation.
- 02:09 It's going to instantly change how you feel.
- 02:11 Number two, motivational programs and training.
- 02:15 If you've got somebody talking to you in your ears,
- 02:18 giving you something positive, that's going to affect how you feel as well.
- 02:23 Motivational programs, it's gonna help cleanse your mind.
- 02:26 Next, this is my favorite.
- 02:27 Are you guys up for a challenge?
- 02:29 I did this.
- 02:30 Somebody challenged me to this and it has changed my life forever.
- 02:34 Here it is, cut out the news for seven days.
- 02:38 It's a seven day challenge.
- 02:40 Some of you are going, my gosh, there's no way I can do that.
- 02:42 I gotta check my stocks, I gotta be educated.
- 02:45 We've got all these things happening in the world.
- 02:49 Here's what I found.
- 02:51 If anything really big happens that I should probably know about,
- 02:54 what happens really in a social setting?
- 02:58 People need to tell me, I'm going to figure it out.
- 03:01 Maybe I can go on to look at a specific story or something like that.
- 03:05 When I check my stocks, I've got my stock app, I can go on there.
- 03:08 I can check my stocks.
- 03:09 Super easy, I don't have to be inundated with all
- 03:14 these negative news stories, they're not going to make me feel particularly good.
- 03:18 You can't blame the news rooms for it, because that's what people are consuming,
- 03:22 that's what people want.
- 03:24 If you want to take your sales or
- 03:26 your business to the next level, try cutting out the news for seven days.
- 03:31 It's like a mind cleanse.
- 03:32 The same way you do a diet cleanse for seven days, try a mind cleanse for
- 03:37 seven days.
- 03:38 It will make an incredible difference in how you feel, how you show up at work.
- 03:44 Make a difference with your clients, how you influence your clients.
- 03:48 Again, step two is all about building the foundation of a successful sales career.
- 03:54 In order to do that, it's start with your psychology.
- 03:57 If your psychology is not in the right place,
- 04:00 your career is going to stay where your psychology is.
- 04:03 You elevate your psychology, you're gonna elevate your sales career.
