- 00:04 Well, a big congratulations, everybody for
- 00:07 making it all the way to the end of this course.
- 00:10 We've covered so much over the last nine sections.
- 00:14 And I really hope you've enjoyed going through this content as much as I've
- 00:19 enjoyed hosting it for you.
- 00:21 So before I leave you, let's just do a quick recap of where we
- 00:25 should be at now we're at the end of this team's course.
- 00:29 So by now we should be reasonably confident when it comes to
- 00:33 creating public, private and org-wide teams.
- 00:37 And we now know the difference between these three, and
- 00:41 which one is going to be most appropriate for our team.
- 00:44 We know how to join existing teams, and
- 00:47 how we can request access to private teams.
- 00:51 We can post and receive messages in channels and privately.
- 00:56 And also post announcements and messages to multiple team channels.
- 01:02 We know how to target messages to specific people and
- 01:05 groups using those @mentions and also tags.
- 01:09 And we should be comfortable sharing documents with others and
- 01:14 collaborating in real time.
- 01:16 And we did this so many times, so this should be second nature now.
- 01:20 We know how to start video and audio calls and meetings and
- 01:24 we know how to share content when we're in those calls.
- 01:28 So things such as as screen, a window,
- 01:32 a PowerPoint presentation, or even a Whiteboard.
- 01:36 We know how to utilize one of the newer features of teams and create and
- 01:40 manage breakout rooms for small group work.
- 01:43 And we can create Wiki pages and add apps to extend the capabilities of Teams.
- 01:51 We know how to customize those channel tabs and create our own tabs,
- 01:56 and add applications to those customized tabs.
- 02:00 And we've seen how we can search for
- 02:02 keywords across teams, channels, messages and people.
- 02:07 We also saw how we can use those quick commands to
- 02:11 effectively execute common tasks in Teams.
- 02:15 And we've seen how we can simply set our status from available to busy or
- 02:20 do not disturb and also provide a status message to keep our colleagues informed.
- 02:26 I've shown you some of the ways that you can adjust your user settings and
- 02:31 really personalise your copy of Teams.
- 02:33 And finally I showed you how you can use the Teams mobile app so
- 02:37 that you collaborate with your team members on the go.
- 02:41 So we really have learned so much over the balance of this course.
- 02:45 And the thing with Microsoft Teams is that it is ever evolving, and
- 02:50 new features are being added all the time.
- 02:53 I really hope this course has given you the confidence to forge ahead using Teams.
- 02:58 And if you've never used it previous to this course,
- 03:01 I hope I've shown you how simple and easy it is.
- 03:05 So it's time for me to say my goodbyes.
- 03:07 It's been an absolute pleasure hosting this course for you.
- 03:11 I hope to see you again somewhere down the road.
- 03:13 Once again, my name is Deborah Ashby goodbye for now.
