- 00:19 Being able to understand where you spend your time and
- 00:21 how you spend your time is a great benefit.
- 00:25 We're gonna introduce you to Hours time tracking,
- 00:27 which is a resource that would allow you to track your time throughout your day.
- 00:32 Hours is a time tracking tool,
- 00:33 it was developed by a company called 5PackCreatives, and
- 00:37 it's actually one of the easiest ways to get started with time tracking.
- 00:41 What is it used for, what are the sort of demonstrations,
- 00:45 tracking time spent, organizing clientelle.
- 00:48 So that's being able to work out how much time you spend with them.
- 00:51 Reporting on your productivity and reviewing employees' productivity, so
- 00:56 what they spend their time on basically.
- 00:58 Who actually uses Hours?
- 01:00 Now there are a lot of use cases, but
- 01:02 it's really for anyone who wants to review their time spent.
- 01:06 Capturing weekly time spent can be a really valuable asset to someone.
- 01:10 Being able to understand where you're putting your time and
- 01:12 attention or who you're putting your time and
- 01:14 attention into will really give you an audit to your productivity.
- 01:18 There are some examples who actually uses this?
- 01:21 The biggest example is probably freelancers.
- 01:24 Freelancers love to know where they're spending their time,
- 01:26 maybe because they need to understand who they're spending their client time with.
- 01:30 And also,
- 01:31 are they spending the right time in the right places in terms of monetary value.
- 01:36 Teams are using it to organize their hours spent and on the course,
- 01:40 being able to actually audit the time of their employees is so invaluable too.
- 01:45 Professionals and startups are using it too, so
- 01:48 it's used in a both team situation and an individual one and also in firms as well.
- 01:54 So more professional individuals trying to audit and
- 01:57 work out where their team are spending their time.
- 02:00 Of course, Hours has a host of features that people like using.
- 02:05 So they used the ability to add new timers per client, that's quite a nice function.
- 02:10 Being able to log all time spent on timeline which is quite nice.
- 02:15 Capture time per task, you can be very granular with it versus very broad.
- 02:20 You can gather reports on the time spent and also monitor your team's productivity.
- 02:25 Now it's available on iOS and Apple watch like pictured and also web too.
- 02:30 Now it's free on iOS, so you can actually the iOS app as much as you like, but
- 02:35 for the web version if you want to add that it's $8 per user per month or
- 02:40 $80 annually.
- 02:42 In terms of getting started all we have to do is download it.
- 02:45 We'll give you some information about that in a minute.
- 02:47 We'll obviously gonna go over the basic functionality, tracking team productivity,
- 02:52 and easy ways to get started.
- 02:53 So what we'll actually be covering, tallying your client time and
- 02:57 working with Hours in the work day.
- 02:59 So that obviously gonna be beneficial as you get started.
- 03:03 In the next feature, we're gonna chat about tallying time with your clients.

- 03:08 this could be based on around the tallying time on the things you spend on.
