The challenge
Here’s the scenario to be solved from the download file:
We have been sent a dataset that shows the total sales generated by managers in different regions: North, South, East, and West.
Our manager would like to see a breakdown of managers by region where the sales are greater than or equal to this month's target of $1600.
We need to show the results in a table and also in a simple column chart.
Some points to note:
- Everything needs to be dynamic so that if new managers are added, the formulas update correctly.
- The chart title should be dynamic and change when a new region is selected.
- There are no rules when it comes to formatting the chart - go wild!
- This challenge uses functions that are available in the following versions of Excel: Excel 365, Excel 2021 and Excel 2019.
Would you like to test your knowledge further? Try sorting the results in the table from largest to smallest by sales value.
How quickly can you complete this challenge? Fifteen minutes? Ten? Less?
