- 00:04 Adding a number of images and pictures to your slide
- 00:07 show can really impress your audience and make your presentation pop.
- 00:13 So let's take a deeper look at how we can edit and format images so
- 00:18 that they can look the that we want them to when we go to present.
- 00:22 It's important to have images that overlap
- 00:25 in the way that you would like them to be as a part of your presentation.
- 00:29 Let's say in this case I would like this green arrow to actually overlap
- 00:33 this image here.
- 00:35 To do so, I'm going to right-click on this image and select Order.
- 00:40 And here I can choose to bring it to the front or
- 00:43 bring it to the back or send backward.
- 00:46 In this case, I'm gonna say send to back.
- 00:49 And now you can see that this image is overlapping.
- 00:52 In fact, any image that I drag will now overlap that particular image.
- 00:56 So that's great, that's exactly what I desire.
- 01:00 Now, in this case on the right hand side,
- 01:03 let's take a look at how we can rotate this image.
- 01:06 You can see that I would actually like this arrow to sort of be behind it but
- 01:10 I don't like the way that the actual arrow in this bullseye
- 01:14 is overlapping the green arrow here.
- 01:18 So in order to rotate an image, simply select it and
- 01:22 then find this small dot at the top of the image.
- 01:26 By clicking and dragging, you can rotate that image to its desired position.
- 01:32 I'm gonna rotate it to roughly there.
- 01:35 And now you can see I've moved this arrow in the bullseye away from
- 01:40 the green arrow here.
- 01:41 And then I can drag it to its desired location.
- 01:45 Now, something else that you may want to experiment with is rotating or
- 01:49 flipping a particular image.
- 01:51 I think it would be more powerful if this woman was facing the bull's eye.
- 01:57 So I'm gonna select it, I'm gonna right-click, and
- 02:00 then I'm gonna hover over rotate.
- 02:02 And in this case, I'm going to select Flip horizontally.
- 02:07 Now she's facing the same direction as the arrow.
- 02:10 I think that's a lot more powerful, in this particular case.
- 02:14 Lastly, I wanna go here to the bullseye and
- 02:18 I could bring the green arrow forward, so that the tip of the arrow is overlapping.
- 02:24 But I'm gonna try something different this time.
- 02:27 I'd like to make this image a little transparent so
- 02:30 that we can see the tip of this arrow just underneath this bullseye.
- 02:36 So in this case, I'm going to right click again, but
- 02:40 this time I'm going to select Image options.
- 02:43 Under image options, we have a few different things that we can alter.
- 02:47 We can recolor the particular image, we can change its brightness or its contrast.
- 02:54 But in this case, I want to change its transparency.
- 02:58 So I'm gonna slide this over to roughly 20% and
- 03:02 now you can see as I go back to the image, and I'm gonna close this menu.
- 03:07 You can see now we have the tip of the green arrow just underneath this image.
- 03:14 So get familiar with the ability to rotate and flip and
- 03:19 resizing your images, again, with adjusting its color and
- 03:23 even adjusting its transparency for your particular needs.
