How to Master Your Beliefs, Attitude and Emotions – Mind Reset
In order to be successful in sales, you have to master your attitude, beliefs and emotions. Reset your mind to be positive and that positive mentality will reflect in your sales.
When to use
As a sales person or as a professional you need to master your attitude, beliefs and emotions. Put something positive in your mind at night and you will wake up with a positive attitude.
Instructions
To master your attitude, beliefs and emotions you need to do a Mind Reset. You go through your day and all types of things happen, both good and bad. As sales people and professionals, you have to reset your mind.
You can reset your mind using some of these strategies in the morning and/or before you go to bed:
- Gratitude
- Take some time to be grateful for what you have.
- You can do this through Meditation, Prayer, Journaling, Etc.
- Diet
- Studies show that your diet can impact your psychology.
- Drink plenty of water.
- Eat breakfast every morning.
- Consult your doctor about what diet works best for you.
- Exercise
- You have to move your body by walking, running, swimming, biking, yoga, etc.
- Consult Your doctor about what exercise routine works best for you.

- 00:09 So you might ask yourself how do I master my beliefs,
- 00:14 how do I master my attitude and my emotions?
- 00:17 That's what we're gonna cover in this video, okay?
- 00:20 I call this your mind reset, your mind reset, why is that?
- 00:25 Because you go through your day, right, and all types of things happen.
- 00:30 Things go great, things go wrong.
- 00:33 People are happy with you, people are upset with you, and it goes like this,
- 00:38 it's called life.
- 00:39 So what we need to do as sales people and professionals,
- 00:43 we have to reset our minds, okay?
- 00:46 It doesn't matter if you're an athlete, if you're a top CEO,
- 00:50 if you're an entertainer, they all have some sort of way to reset their mind, so
- 00:55 that they can be at their best.
- 00:56 So that when they're getting out on the field,
- 00:59 when they're going into that boardroom, when they're jumping out on stage,
- 01:03 they know that they're at their best, and you can do that, too.
- 01:07 And that's what we're gonna focus on in this video, okay?
- 01:10 Great, so the first thing, and we talked a little bit about this in the last video,
- 01:15 is you need a morning ritual, okay?
- 01:18 What do you do in the morning that's going to reset your mind, okay?
- 01:22 And you can also do some of these things at night, before you go to bed,
- 01:27 to reset your mind, okay?
- 01:28 The most important one, and this one works, it's called gratitude.
- 01:34 And you may have heard this before, but
- 01:37 this is something we want to really focus in on.
- 01:40 So it doesn't matter if you're into meditation, or
- 01:44 you're into prayer of some sort, or you're into journaling, etc, okay?
- 01:49 Just taking the moment, it could be 5 minutes, it could be 10 minutes,
- 01:53 it could be 20 minutes, half hour, an hour.
- 01:56 Some point, just to be grateful for what you have, grateful for your clients,
- 02:00 grateful for your health, grateful for your family, grateful for your friends.
- 02:04 Whatever it is you can be grateful for,
- 02:06 it's going to put you in a positive attitude, in a great mindset, okay?
- 02:10 So when do this in the morning, first thing when you get out of bed,
- 02:14 and the last thing you do before you go to bed,
- 02:17 now you're resetting your mind with something positive.
- 02:20 Does that make sense?
- 02:21 It's a lot better to do a gratitude exercise at night,
- 02:25 rather than watch the 11 o'clock news with all the craziness going on in the world.
- 02:30 And a lot of it, you can't do anything about, can you?
- 02:33 But how do those stories make you feel?
- 02:35 Not so great.
- 02:36 And if you put that into your mind before you go to sleep,
- 02:40 your subconscious is gonna take all that in, and
- 02:43 you're going to start acting on that, okay, just on the negativity, okay?
- 02:47 Now, if you put something positive in your mind, before you go to bed, now you're
- 02:52 gonna wake up with something positive in your mind and you continue that practice.
- 02:56 Does that make sense?
- 02:57 Don't take my word for it, give it a shot, give it a shot, try it.
- 03:02 Wake up in the morning, give some gratitude through some meditation, prayer,
- 03:05 journaling, etc, okay?
- 03:07 Awesome.
- 03:08 The second thing is your diet.
- 03:11 We all know diet is important for our health, but
- 03:14 study show now that your diet can greatly impact you psychology.
- 03:19 How you feel, your mood, okay, your focus, your productivity,
- 03:24 your diet can affect all of these things.
- 03:27 Have you ever had a huge fast food diet for lunch, right?
- 03:33 You didn't have breakfast, so you had this big huge lunch, fast food and
- 03:36 all that sitting in you.
- 03:37 And right around 3 o'clock, in the office, you feel your energy go.
- 03:42 Has that ever happened to you?
- 03:43 It's happened to me, it's not fun.
- 03:46 Diet plays a huge difference in that, okay?
- 03:49 Because what happens is, when you fill yourself up with all that junk, your
- 03:54 digestive system and your body has to work twice as hard to digest that food, okay?
- 03:59 So you wanna make sure that you're drinking plenty of water, okay?
- 04:03 Your body is made up of 70, 75, 80% water, okay?
- 04:08 So you wanna make sure that you're putting water, staying hydrated.
- 04:11 That in itself will help increase your focus, help you feel better, your mood.
- 04:16 Eat breakfast, okay, and
- 04:18 consult your doctor of what kind of diet's gonna work for you, okay?
- 04:22 So I, personally, I have protein in the morning, right, with my breakfast.
- 04:27 It helps spark my metabolism, okay?
- 04:30 So make sure to consult your physician, and
- 04:32 talk to them about what diet works best for you.
- 04:35 But get yourself on a healthy diet, it's gonna affect more than just your body, and
- 04:40 the energy and the vibrancy you're gonna feel by eating healthy.
- 04:44 But it's also going to affect your mindset,
- 04:46 which has a huge impact on your sales.
- 04:49 Makes sense?
- 04:51 Good.
- 04:51 Next is exercise, you have to move your body, whether it's just walking, or
- 04:56 whether it's running, or whether it's swimming, or whether it's biking, or
- 05:00 whether it's yoga, etc.
- 05:03 Consult your doctor on what's best for you, but getting your body moving,
- 05:07 especially in the morning before work, this is going to help clear your mind.
- 05:11 It's gonna get your endorphins going, you're gonna have more vibrancy.
- 05:14 And again, all of these things, you're building this foundation to skyrocket
- 05:19 your sales, so that your income will shoot through the roof.
- 05:23 And you'll feel better and
- 05:25 more excited to go into the work, and whatever it is you're doing with your job.
- 05:30 Whether you're on the phone, whether you're sending emails,
- 05:33 whether you're doing presentations, whether you're doing sit down one on ones,
- 05:37 this all makes a huge difference, okay?
- 05:39 So let's recap.
- 05:41 How do you master your beliefs, your attitude and you emotions?
- 05:45 Start with a mind reset in the morning and in the evening, okay?
- 05:49 And by the way, you can do a mind reset in the middle of the day, couldn't you?
- 05:53 Sure, at your lunch break.
- 05:54 If you feel like your energy's going down a little bit, stop for a second.
- 05:58 Get into gratitude, that's meditation, prayer, journaling, etc.
- 06:03 Make sure that you're watching your diet, drinking plenty of water,
- 06:06 having breakfast.
- 06:07 Consult your doctor on that, find out what the best nutrition is for you.
- 06:11 And third, exercise, whether it's walking, running, swimming, biking, yoga, etc.
- 06:16 Consult your doctor, find out what works best for you, okay?
- 06:20 And by the way, if you have been doing this things,
- 06:25 do you find the benefits overnight?
- 06:28 Sometimes.
- 06:29 But sometimes, it takes a while, but you need to build the new habits of
- 06:34 a sales professional that is going to excel, okay?
