- 00:04 Let's see how we can convert that handwritten text to
- 00:09 actual text that can be more legible.
- 00:12 So, I'm going to go back to the Draw menu.
- 00:15 Now, in this case, I'm going to use the Lasso Select, I'll click on Lasso Select.
- 00:19 And I'm going to highlight that text that we made here.
- 00:23 Good.
- 00:24 Try to move that box a little bit so that it incorporates the whole text.
- 00:30 There you go.
- 00:31 So you see how the text is selected.
- 00:34 Now, notice from the Draw menu over here, we have one that says ink to text.
- 00:39 So let's see If my text is recognizable there.
- 00:42 And then it converted to the good text, right?
- 00:46 Now my handwriting is kind of interesting.
- 00:49 I bet it doesn't recognize my handwriting, but let's give it a shot.
- 00:52 So I'll do the Lasso Select again, and
- 00:55 I'm going to try to select that handwriting over there.
- 00:58 Good, and then I'll pick on ink to text.
- 01:01 Let's see if it recognizes this one.
- 01:03 It actually came pretty close.
- 01:04 My name is Tom but it did T-O-N.
- 01:07 So, maybe I'm going to undo that.
- 01:09 And I can see why it made it an n there.
- 01:12 So, actually let me erase that text, I'll pick on the eraser.
- 01:16 So I can do it again.
- 01:19 All right, okay, so we'll draw the text again.
- 01:22 Okay, so this time, I'll click on the red pen up here, and
- 01:26 I'm going to try to draw on my screen with my finger because I do have a touchscreen.
- 01:32 I'll try to make it neater this time.
- 01:36 Okay, so now let's see if I can convert that to the ink.
- 01:41 I'm going to click on the Lasso Select and highlight that text.
- 01:46 Good.
- 01:47 And then I'll click on ink to text.
- 01:50 And that time, it was a lot better, all right?
- 01:53 So you can see, in the previous lesson,
- 01:55 we were able to use the Draw menu to create the text or draw on the screen.
- 02:01 And then it doesn't have to be a text, it can be about anything.
- 02:05 And then I can erase it.
- 02:06 We could change the colors and the thickness.
- 02:09 Even over here, you have more colors and thickness.
- 02:12 And then over here, I was able to convert what we wrote with our pen or
- 02:18 the handwriting into actual text that is visible or more usable on that screen.
- 02:25 Once you're done with your ink, you want to click on the Draw menu and then
- 02:30 I'll pick on this icon over here as this makes your mouse back to a normal mouse.
