- 00:04 In this lesson,
- 00:05 I want to show you how to export the notes into different file formats.
- 00:10 So we're back in the Quick Notes of course.
- 00:13 Now, I can do this with a section.
- 00:16 I can right-click on that section, and
- 00:18 then notice how it's going to say Export there.
- 00:23 So now you can pick your folder that it's going to go to, of course,
- 00:28 but down here, you can pick the different file type.
- 00:33 So I can save it as a OneNote file, as a PDF, as a Word document,
- 00:39 or this is the older style Word document, okay?
- 00:44 So let's try to send it as a Word document.
- 00:49 And then I'll call it Quick Notes or you can give it a different name.
- 00:52 And it's going to put that in my Documents folder.
- 00:54 So that's fine.
- 00:56 And now that's all ready to be opened with Microsoft Word.
- 01:00 Give it a second, and now that's done.
- 01:03 So I can just right-click on the section, and then click on Export, and
- 01:08 then you can see how you can choose the different location and
- 01:12 then you can choose the different file types.
- 01:15 I'm going to click on Cancel there.
- 01:18 Now another way to export is coming up.
- 01:21 I'll pick on the File menu, File, and I'll pick on Export there, good.
- 01:27 So now, I can export the Page, or the Section, or the Notebook.
- 01:34 And then you see different file formats over here.
- 01:37 So I can export it to a OneNote file, a Word document, a PDF,
- 01:42 here's a different file type, or even as a webpage, okay?
- 01:47 So in this case, I just picked on File menu and I picked on Export.
- 01:52 Here I can export the Page, or the Section, or the entire Notebook, and
- 01:57 you have your different file formats from there.
- 02:00 Once you pick your file format, then you would pick on the word Export and
- 02:04 it would make that file for you.
- 02:06 So there you saw a couple quick ways to export your note into other file formats.
