Login to download- 00:04 Well, congratulations everybody for making it all the way to the end of this course.
- 00:09 I hope you guys have enjoyed going through this course as
- 00:12 much as I've enjoyed training it for you.
- 00:15 And we've covered so much in this course, so let's just end by doing a quick recap.
- 00:21 So we started out at the beginning of the course going through a course
- 00:24 introduction.
- 00:25 And in that course introduction, we took a look at the differences between
- 00:30 Microsoft Planner, Project for the web, and Project Online.
- 00:34 We explored some of the project plans that are available for us to purchase.
- 00:38 And we really explored exactly what Planner and Project for the Web are.
- 00:43 Section 2 was dedicated to Microsoft Planner.
- 00:46 We took a look at this really useful Microsoft 365 application and
- 00:51 saw how we can manage individual and team at tasks.
- 00:54 In Section 3, we moved on to its big sister,
- 00:57 Project for the Web, a more complex application than Planner.
- 01:02 We saw how we can create a project plan by importing a project,
- 01:05 creating a project from scratch, or utilizing a template.
- 01:09 We added tasks to our project plan and we edited all of the details.
- 01:13 We saw how we can work in timeline view and do things like add structure
- 01:18 with summary and sub-tasks and also add task dependencies.
- 01:22 We also took a look at the roadmap feature in Project for the Web where we can select
- 01:28 key tasks from across all of our projects to make them easier to monitor.
- 01:33 We started to delve into some of the features of the power platform.
- 01:39 One of the biggest advantages of project for the web is that it is built on
- 01:43 the power platform so we can harness the strength of other applications like
- 01:47 Power Apps, Power BI, Power Automate to really supercharge our project plans.
- 01:52 So we saw how we can take our project for the web data and
- 01:56 create a stunning visual report using the Power BI project report template.
- 02:01 We spent some time discussing the Dataverse and
- 02:04 how that ties in to project for the web.
- 02:06 And I've showed you how you can publish your reports to the Power BI service,
- 02:11 as well as create interactive dashboards to present the key metrics from your data
- 02:16 to stakeholders, managers, and clients.
- 02:18 So hopefully now that you've got to the end of this course,
- 02:22 you feel you have a better understanding of each of these products,
- 02:25 how they compare together, and the advantages of each.
- 02:29 This knowledge is going to help you make a better business decision for yourself and
- 02:33 your team.
- 02:33 So the only thing left for me to do here is to say my goodbyes.
- 02:37 As I said, it's been an absolute pleasure.
- 02:40 Happy learning and I hope to see you on another course in the future.
