Add Images, Emojis, and Gifs to messages to inject some fun and personality into the conversation.
When to use
Use Images, Emojis, and Gifs whenever you want to add some fun or convey a particular emotion to the recipient.
Instructions
Emojis, animated gifs, and stickers are a great way to inject some fun and personality into a conversation. Teams has been updated to include a new gallery of over 800 emojis, some of which can be personalized.
Add Emojis
- Click New conversation.
- Type a message.
- Click the Emoji icon underneath the message.
Emojis are categorized by type. We can use the search bar at the top to search for different emojis.
- Select an emoji to add it to the message.
Add Stickers
- Click New conversation.
- Type a message.
- Click the Sticker icon underneath the message.
Stickers and memes are categorized and some are customizable.
- Hover the mouse over a sticker.
- Click the pencil icon to Edit.
- Edit the sticker.
- Click Done.
Add Gifs
- Click New conversation.
- Type a message.
- Click the Giphy icon underneath the message.
- Select an image from the gallery.
- Click Send.
Hints & tips
- Emojis can be added to messages using keyboard shortcuts. For example, to post a smiley face, use the shortcut :-). To post a laughing emoji, type [rofl].
