Instructions
Select the text layers that you wish change
- In the ‘Layer Panel’, hold down the Control key in the PC and the Command key in the Mac and select the text layers that you want to change
Simple changes can then be made from the options toolbar at the top (or shortcut ‘T’ for access)
- The changes available include things like
- Color
- Font
- Text size
- Justification
Making more complex changes will involve bringing up the Character Panel .
- From the Window dropdown menu, select the Character Panel
- This will allow you to adjust many complex text options, like tracking and sub-script etc.
Tip
While within a single text layer, you can change single words and letters by using the text tool to highlight only the words or letters of the layer that you want to change. Useful for highlighting words, without changing the text placement.
